Adriana Lima Expecting a Baby

Adriana Lima, the Brazilian supermodel and Victoria's Secret Angel, recently announced that she was expecting a child with NBA player Marko Jaric. This is the couple's first baby, People magazine reported.

"Adriana and Marko are overjoyed that they are expecting their first child together and are excited to share the happy news and start their family together," her reps said. The baby's due date is sometime in the winter, later this year.

Lima, 27, and Jaric, 29, met in 2006, and were engaged last June, on Lima's 27th birthday. They eloped on Valentine's Day this year and got married in a small, private ceremony in Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

Jaric, who plays for the Memphis Grizzlies, and Lima told People when they eloped early this year that they were really excited about their future together.

Adriana Lima has worked as the face of Victoria's Secret, Guess and Armani, as well as walked the ramp for the likes of Vera Wang, Christian Lacroix and Ralph Lauren.
