Adrien Brody To Star In "Predators"

Academy Award winner Adrien Brody will play the lead role in the new adaptation of "Predators". His character will be known as the hunter of men, and he will star along with Alice Braga ("I Am Legend"), Mahershalalhashbaz Ali ("The 4400"), Walton Goggins ("The Shield"), Danny Trejo ("The Grind"), and Oleg Taktarov (UFC fighter).

Topher Grace is still in negotiations to join the cast. He would play an accountant who is secretly a serial killer. Braga will be the tough female, Ali is the man not afraid to die, Goggins is the loose cannon, Trejo is Cuchillo; hardened warrior, and Taktarov is the former Russian special agent.

Robert Rodriguez, Alex Litvak and Michael Finch co-wrote the script and Nimrod Antal will direct "Predators" Shooting is scheduled to begin next month in Hawaii. The movie has a planned release in July 2010.
