Aerosmith Cancels Tour as a Result of Tyler injury
Ailing Aerosmith front-man, Stephen Tyler, 61 cancels tour.
The North American tour was canceled a little over a week ago after the singer fell off the stage and broke his shoulder on August 5 in Sturgis, South Dakota.
Guitarist Joe Perry said in a statement, "Words can't express the sadness I feel for having to cancel this tour...I would like to thank our loyal fans for sticking by us through thick and thin and all the good energy they are sending our way."
Health problems also faced other group members, guitarist Brad Whitford and bass player Tom Hamilton, proving that the tour was troubled before it even kicked off.
Out of the fifteen shows the band did play, they were not up to the band's full potential.
Refunds for the rest of the tour, which kicked off on June 10, will be available at the place of purchase, Aerosmith's representatives said.
