Aerosmith's Tour May Be Put On Hold
Due to Steven Tyler's fall, the tour is in a delay.
On Friday, Aerosmith guitarist Joe Perry told Rockford radio station that he was not sure if his band will continue their summer tour without singer, Steven Tyler.
The 61-year-old singer fell several feet from a South Dakota stage last Wednesday. He apparently injured his head and broke his shoulder after the performance of "Love in an Elevator." Later Tyler was airlifted to the hospital where he recovers from those injuries.
In an in-studio interview with WXRX-FM, Perry added, "We still don't know if we're going to keep the tour up or what. . . . It's breaking my heart."
The next stop on the Aerosmith tour is at First Midwest Bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park on Aug. 28.
There still aren't any comments on Tyler's return on the tour.
