Al Gore’s Affair Ended Marriage

Al and Tipper Gore’s surprising separation has become more clear with the news of Al Gore’s affair with Larry David’s ex-wife.

David was one of the producers of Gore’s documentary An Inconvenient Truth. Sources say that David’s wife, Laurie David, and Gore have been involved for two years. “Al and Laurie went from friends to lovers. It couldn’t be avoided,” a source told Star.

Laurie David is an environmental activist and trustee of the National Resources Defense Council. She co-produced 2006’s Oscar-winning An Inconvenient Truth with her ex-husband. Laurie and Larry David divorced in 2007 following claims that she was having an affair with the married caretaker of the couple’s summer home.

The National Inquirer has cited Tipper Gore’s unfounded jealousy as the reason for the Gore’s split. A friend of the couple said that, “She always believed there was something going on between Al and many of the women in his life.”
