Al Gore Releases New Book

Picking up where An Inconvenient Truth left off, Our Choice will highlight some new solutions to the climate crisis, according to Entertainment Weekly. Gore has teamed with Rodale and plans to have the book published on Nov. 3.

"An Inconvenient Truth reached millions of people with the message that the climate crisis is threatening the future of human civilization and that it must and can be solved," Gore said in a press release.

The book includes more than 30 "Solutions Summits" that Gore held with scientists, engineers, and policy experts. It also contains much of Gore's own independent research.

The book outlines a plan to create new jobs and stimulate the economy through efforts made to save the earth's climate. All proceeds for Our Choice are being donated to the Alliance for Climate Protection.

Former Vice President/presidential candidate Al Gore has sparked much controversy regarding global warming and humanities involvement in the recent, drastic climate change.
