Al Pacino owes the Internal Revenue Service more than $188,000 in debt for two years of unpaid taxes.
According to the New York Post, the IRS sent Pacino a bill for $169,000 for unpaid taxes in 2008 and for $19,000 for unpaid taxes in 2009.
Daily Mail reported that Pacino is blaming his former business manager, Kenneth Starr, for the unpaid taxes.
Starr was arrested last May for running a $33 million Ponzi scheme. His scheme affected such celebrities as Uma Thurman and Martin Scorsese. He was sentenced to seven and half years in prison earlier this year.
Pacino’s new management team is working to resolve the situation with the IRS.
Pacino is best known for his work in The Godfather trilogy and Scarface.
