Alec Baldlwin Rushed to, then Quickly Released from Hospital
People.com's sources are telling them that 30 Rock star Alec Baldwin was rushed from his apartment building last night and taken to the hospital.
The actor was found unresponsive by a relative and called the paramedics, who took the actor to Lenox Hill Hospital. The strange thing is, the actor was released just an hour later. According to Matthew Hiltzik, Baldwin's representative, the whole thing was just one big misunderstanding. "Alec was quickly released from the hospital, he's completely fine and will be at work today. . . . If there was a real problem, he wouldn't have been released within an hour."
Those close to Baldwin say that there were no drugs or alcohol involved, and no further details have been released so far on what this "misunderstanding" may have been.
Baldwin currently stars as Jack Donaghy alongside Tina Fey on the NBC sitcom, 30 Rock, and will also be hosting the Academy Awards alongside Steve Martin on March 7 on ABC.
