Alec Baldwin is Fine After Hospital Scare
After a slight health scare, Alec Baldwin is back home and doing fine.
Baldwin was rushed to Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan Wednesday night after a caller, reportedly Baldwin’s daughter Ireland, said the actor was “unresponsive” and couldn’t get out of bed, NBC New York reports.
Baldwin agreed to go to the hospital and was released after about an hour, the site reports.
Baldwin’s rep, Matthew Hilzik, tells NBC New York:
“This was a misunderstanding on one person's part. Alec was quickly released from the hospital. He's completely fine and will be at work today.”
Baldwin has been riding high lately with several award wins for his comedic role in 30 Rock, a part alongside Meryl Streep in It’s Complicated and will co-host this year’s Academy Awards on March 7 with Steve Martin, who also appears in the romantic comedy.
