Alec Baldwin has to see a shrink

A Los Angeles court has ordered Alec Baldwin to consult a therapist before he is allowed extra visits with Ireland, his daughter with ex-wife Kim Basinger.

Commissioner Maren E. Nelson stated that she wants a professional to judge whether Baldwin would try to turn his daughter against her mother. "Whether that is taking place or not, I cannot determine," she said. "Someone, an evaluator, needs to spend time with Ireland and the parents to work on that issue."

The couple filed for divorce in 2001 after seven years of marriage, and it's been a custody brawl ever since. Both have accused the other of "pathological needs" and "severe emotional problems." Baldwin has even tried to force Basinger into taking parenting classes.

Perhaps they should both sign up.
