Alicia Keys Postpones Tour Dates

The singer must take a few days break from her tour, due to a sore throat.

According to the Associated Press, Alicia Keys has come down with a case of laryngitis, forcing her to postpone two shows on her European tour. The singer's doctor has ordered her to be on vocal rest as confirmed by her publicist.

Keys cancelled her scheduled performances for Monday in Glasgow, Scotland and Tuesday in Manchester, England. The dates will be rescheduled when the singer regains her health.

Keys's latest album, As I Am, has sold millions of copies and gained respect and recognition within the music industry. She recently performed at the Grammys with a timeless Frank Sinatra, thanks to the creative and technological masterminds behind the awards ceremony.

Keys was awarded for her achievements at the BET Honors which aired Friday, according to Access Hollywood. The event was held at the Warner Theatre in Washington, D.C. on Jan. 12.
