All-Star Apprentice Shines
According to the New York Daily News, Donald Trump is one-upping the competition once again with his celebrity-driven version of his hit television show, The Apprentice.Donald Trump has managed to sign on outspoken Kiss bassist Gene Simmons and former "Soprano" Vinnie Pastore as part of the celebrity all-star edition of "The Apprentice" scheduled to launch Jan. 3 on NBC.
Simmons and Pastore are just part of the crowd. Also on board for the new celebrity edition is former "Apprentice" villian Omarosa, as well as country music star Trace Atkins, former heavyweight boxing champion Lennox Lewis, Olympic softball gold medalist Jennie Finch, actress Marilu Henner, Stephen Baldwin, model Carol Alt, TV producer and executive Nely Galan, ultimate fighting champion Tito Ortiz, Playboy's 2005 Playmate of the Year Tiffany Fallon and gymnast Nadia Comaneci.
Unlike the past six seasons, the celeb contestants will not be battling it out for a spot in the boardroom next to Trump, but instead will be working to benefit their favorite charities. The winner will receive a $250,000 for the cause of their choice. The show has Trump putting these top-of-their gamers through a series of challenges, all of which have a business twist.
