Alyssa Milano explains that her son’s name is all in the family

Alyssa Milano became a first-time mom this week, and can’t stop gushing about her newborn son, Milo Thomas.

"Thank you for all the well wishes for my son Milo," Milano tweeted shortly after welcoming her son. "My heart has tripled in size. I love him more than all the leaves on all the trees."

On Friday, the new mom continued to gush, enjoying all the motherhood duties: "Breastfeeding. Poop. And bliss. I love being Milo's mother!" she wrote. She also revealed the meaning behind her and her husband, David Bugliari’s choice of a name.

"Milo was named after his two grandfathers, Miller and Thomas," the former Charmed actress, 38, revealed Friday. "Two very important men in my life!"
