Amanda Bynes Announces Retirement Over Twitter
The last time we saw actress Amanda Bynes on the big screen was in 2007 Sydney White. As it turns out, that might be the last time. She announced that she would be retiring on Twitter early Saturday morning.
“I don’t love acting anymore so I’ve stopped doing it,” Bynes tweeted around 3am Saturday morning according to E! News.
So what changed you ask?
The onetime Nickelodeon kid said, “Being an actress isn’t as fun as it may seem. I’ve never written the movies & TV shows I’ve been apart of, I’ve only acted like the characters the producers or directors wanted me to play.”
Bynes has stared in not only one but two television shows since she was 13. Perhaps that is why it isn’t fun anymore.
“If I don’t love something anymore, I stop doing it.”
Her mind seems made up, “I know 24 is a young age to retire,” she said “but you heard it first I’ve retired.”
