[The Amazing Race - Season 18 Episode 10]

Switzerland. The contestants departed from Moos restaurant to find the Air Rescue Helicopter Port to sign up for an "unknown" destination. Zev & Justin thought their winter hats were good luck in the cold weather. The first helicopter departed in 9:15am, weather permitting, so they had a few hours to wait. The sisters joked around that having one dollar for the leg would be fun. They signed up in second. The Goths claimed to be happier, glitter filled for this leg, though we've seen this before and everything went wrong for them. While Kent & Vyxsin tried to get a taxi, Gary & Mallory hopped into one instantly.

Kent was worried about taxis and Vyxsin tried to calm him down. They eventually got a taxi and headed out. Kent & Vyxsin were in fourth to sign up and The Globetrotters were last. At 9:15am, Zev & Justin got the first clue which was their Detour. The options were: Search (Use an Avalanche Beacon to find a training dummy and dig him out) or Rescue (Use a special device to save a stranded victim in a crevasse). Zev & Justin decided to Search; the two were happy to see the Matterhorn and the wonderful scenery.

Kisha & Jen thought that Search would be a tedious task so they decided to go for Rescue. Zev & Justin started to use their beacon to find their point and thought they hit something as Gary & Mallory headed out to do the same task. Jen decided to take the decent because of Kisha's fear of heights; she joked around about finding cute guys in the crevasses. The final two teams headed out, both choosing the Rescue detour.

Zev & Justin continued to shovel out while Gary & Mallory arrived. They headed out and eventually found their beacon's crossing points. As Kent & Vyxsin arrived, Kisha & Jen were working well together due to their strong communication. Kent went down and screamed at Vyxsin as much as possible. The Globetrotters were awestruck at the scenery. Vyxsin continued to reel Kent too low as he yelled at Vyxsin as loud as he could. After the commercial break, Vyxsin finally heard Kent and fixed the issue. At the dig, Gary & Mallory successfully found the head of the dummy. Jen finally was lifted up as Kent slowly made it up. Big Easy was cranking while the lighter Flight Time made it down. Gary & Mallory managed to get the top of the body out, but the legs were still buried.

Kisha & Jen were the first to complete either detour aspect and given a clue to go to Le Petit Cervin. They were followed quickly by both Kent & Vyxsin and The Globetrotters. Zev & Justin finally found their body as Gary was having trouble breathing. The father and daughter worked together to rip the bottom part of the dummy out. The two finished before Zev & Justin, Zev having trouble digging.

Kisha & Jen headed over to a ski lift to find the train station. They were followed by Kent & Vyxsin. The two teams got the 11:08am train. Eventually, Gary & Mallory and The Globetrotters both managed to make the same train. Zev & Justin continued to dig as the four other teams gained a 25 minute lead. After the commercial, the two managed to get the legs out but all four teams were already getting their next clue. The Roadblock asked who was ready to "Make a new friend." They had to make a chocolate Travelocity gnome by painting and filling a gnome mold.

The teams went out and started to ask questions. Kent, Kisha, and Gary sat back and ate chocolate as they waited for their partners. Back at the mountain, Zev & Justin finally got their dummy and headed to the train. They were worried that they were dead last. At the Roadblock, Vyxsin was really intricate because the contestants would have to go back and forth to freeze layers. Kent tried to repeat instructions which was annoying not only Vyxsin but also Mallory. Zev & Justin finally showed up with Zev trying to paint and catch up to all the other teams. Vyxsin eventually got her mold into the freezer on the bottom level. At the freezer section, Flight Time and Jen had trouble with the molds. They all started to complain that Vyxsin moved molds when it was shown that Vyxsin put hers on the bottom most level. Big Easy started to complain about how people could be so dirty in the background. Vyxsin took time to interview confused and crying about the situation.

After the commercial, the teams continued to paint correctly. Big Easy started making fun of Kisha's nervous laugh. Flight Time was first to finish and he was the first to fill the gnome with chocolate and had to freeze the mold. He was told that the teams had about 30 minutes to freeze the molds. Eventually, all the teams were filling and freezing with Zev being the last to finish. Flight Time, Jen, Vyxsin, and Mallory came back inside and nervously tried to peel the plastic molding away from the chocolate mold. The teams were instructed to work on the areas with the seals and Vyxsin was the first to finish.

The team was instructed to go to the cabin, with Flight Time & Big Easy, Kisha & Jen, and Gary & Mallory heading out. Kent & Vyxsin continued to get issues with taxis, but the instructions told them to walk. Kisha & Jen caught the faux pas of the rules before they got into a cab. The rest of the teams were running as Zev finally finished his gnome. Vyxsin had a bad feeling about the taxi as the other teams ran. Zev & Justin started running as Flight Time & Big Easy were the first to arrive. They got a trip to the Cook Islands.

Kisha & Jen arrived in second place. Kent & Vyxsin got a 30 minute penalty as they arrived. Gary & Mallory became the third team because of the penalty. Zev & Justin had trouble with finding the area giving Kent & Vyxsin ample amounts of time to bicker about their negativity. Zev & Justin arrived last, but were in fourth because of Kent & Vyxsin. The two were eliminated.
