Wednesday night’s episode of Fox’s American Idol, which was the first of the Hollywood episodes, featured a 16-year-old contestant falling on her back and a famous celebrity’s daughter cut from the competition.

The main drama in the episode came toward the end when 16-year-old Symone Black suddenly fell on her back while trying to perform. According to Fox News, Black was trying to sing “Sittin’ on the Dock of the Bay,” which the judges liked. However, she suddenly began holding her head and fell towards a cameraman off the stage. Her father was seen rushing to help her, while Jennifer Lopez could only say, “Oh my god.” Steven Tyler remarked, “She hit her head.” Meanwhile, others yelled for a medic and told her that her father was on his way.

People reports that Fox has yet to give an update on the California native’s health. Instead, Fox held her performance until the end of the episode, promising an update on her condition in Thursday night’s episode.

Also of note: actor Jim Carrey’s daughter, Jane Carrey, was cut from the competition. She tried to sing CCR’s “Looking Out My Back Door,” but the 24-year-old quickly noticed that she was not doing well just a few bars into the song, notes Us Weekly. "I freaked out when I was there so I was really really shaky," she said after her performance. She also said that she called her father, who was “comforting...He said 'I've been said no to a bunch of times' and it worked out for him, so hopefully I have a shot."

Idol’s Hollywood week continues Thursday at 8 p.m. on Fox.
