'America's Got Talent': Week 4, Part 2

The show takes its auditions to Seattle and back to New York City.

America's Got Talent continued the fourth week of its auditions on Wednesday at 9 p.m. Auditions began in Seattle and ended in New York City. As always, host Nick Cannon and judges Piers Morgan, Sharon Osbourne and David Hasselhoff returned to welcome in new talent.

A wannabe rocker known as "Keg, The Lone Ranger of Rock," opened for Seattle by being a "one-man band" with a guitar and drums. His rendition of KISS's "Rock & Roll All Night" failed to entertain, and the lone ranger was sent home. Additionally, as with other episodes, the show displayed other contestants who did not impress, such as "The Shanghai Pearl" who dressed as a pink gorilla and danced.

Then, mimicking the other episodes, talent finally emerged, starting with Kari Calin, who has bilateral cleft. She beautifully sang for the audience and judges and received the praise she had been hoping for. Other talent followed in New York: Fire acrobatics, country singing and gymnastics all appealed to the audience.

A unique talent arrived on the stage with Rashida Jolly, who sang while playing and drumming on the harp.

"In the very beginning she grabbed me….Then you started beating up your harp," Hasselhoff joked. Nevertheless, she will join the other fortunate contestants in Las Vegas.

Two college roommates, Anthony and Matt, brought another unique talent: tap dancing to a blues song from an acoustic guitar.

"It was totally unique," Morgan said. "I've never seen anything quite like that in my life."

Their audition paid off as well as others: a couple dancing to Argentine tango, a father-and-son acrobatic act and a couple performing tricks with a whip.

Closing the show was the return of Mia Boostrom, who auditioned during the third season but didn't get past the first Las Vegas round.

"This year I'm back 100 percent, and I'm just ready to make my mark," she said.

She sang and played the keyboard to a rendition of Ray Charles's "Georgia."

"You have got so much more confidence [and] your personality is showing through now," Osbourne said before the judges gave her another chance.

Next week is the last week of auditions before the Las Vegas rounds on "America's Got Talent."
