The girls returned to their home after elimination and discussed how much they loved the increased prizes. Interestingly, several models, like Allison, didn't point out that they also wanted to win. The girls were excited that they survived another week. Alexandria continued to call herself misunderstood, which sounds like an interview from last season. Sheena was worried about being an Asian-American model that's more of an entertainer than a model.
Tyra arrived to the girls' mansion and to their surprise, they were having a dress-up party. She introduced Martin Lindstrom, the branding king, and explained that the models had to expand 15 minutes into a career. Martin was succinct, making sure they were a brand. They needed a one-word description of themselves. He explained that fans picked descriptions and gave them all words. While Angelea was "Cheap Shoes" and Kayla was told that lesbian was so 2005, they all got generic words that were supposed to be their brand. I guess girls couldn't get "Forgettable" or "Bitch" as brands.
Lisa - Daring
Sheena - Unexpected
Kayla - Free
Shannon - Trustworthy
Dominique - Survivor
Allison - Unique
Angelea - Persistence
Bre - Girlfriend
Camille - Proud
Isis - Inspiration
Laura - Lovable
Alexandra - Tough
Bianca - Candid
The girls talked about their new directions after being branded. Camille spent some time talking smack about Bianca behind her back with Dominique. She caught the two talking and told Bre and Isis about the drama. She then confronted Dominique and the bitch switch flipped on immediately. Camille and Dominique tried to convince the girls in the kitchen that Bianca was crazy. They were convinced that the word she got totally changed her attitude for the worst.
The girls arrived at Siren Studios for a photo shoot. The girls were given "Ty-Overs" with the help of Ashlee Simpson. She described the image affecting brand, though she should have emphasized that her career has been rocky. She's on Top Model for exposure. She suggested mixing things up to keep up to date. The girls were not only getting hair done but they also received skin care, teeth whitening, and mani/pedis.
Alexandria got shorter hair; other girls got weaves in their hairs. Sheena was traumatized during her session because her hair fell out. Ms. Jay told her that she was getting her hair chopped. After the commercial, he admitted to joking and Sheena's heart couldn't stop. For Bre, the judges wanted her to be shorter instead of looking poofy. Lisa tried to explain that she's getting married in two months, but that didn't mean her hair wasn't going short. Alexandria screamed when her hair was chopped in excitement. Everyone else thought she was fake as she celebrated. Lisa got scared when her hair was gone, she was afraid that she'd never get her hair back. Kayla was suggested to go back to red, which she was happy with.
As Bre's hair got cut, she lost her confidence as the hair was cut. Bre talked to a producer that she was upset that she had no hair. Bianca could only watch far away. She claimed that she was at rage, but thought of her brand. She mentally picked herself up and headed back.
The Jays arrived and gave the girls special Pink's Hot Dogs. For the photo shoot, the girls would create their own Pinks hot dog. The photo will be on Pink's website. The girls created their own hot dog as their brand. Laura created an All-American cookout; Laura sold the hot dog as she tried multiple angles and smiles.
Camille was too tense, and then Jay got Laura to tell her how to pose. Angelea was complimented on her new hair, and her attitude was better than ever. Bianca had warmth to her photo. Sheena looked like she had to pee during the shoot. Alexandria was happy about her hair and cried some more. She was the reverse of tough for Kayla.
Bianca tried to calm down Bre, before her photo shoot. Kayla lacked joy; Laura wondered how to make a hot dog gay. It would be easy to make a hot dog free if pigs could fly. Lisa made a non-bun hot dog; surprisingly her photos pierced through Jay. Bre was still upset with her hair, but she needed to keep her girlfriend attitude.
Judging began and along with Nigel Barker and Andre Leon Talley was Ashlee Simpson. Dominique was first and while she wasn't a survivor in the shot, she looked stunning. Bianca's shot had talent and her smile was beautiful. Shannon's shot had happiness. Camille was fake and oozed pageant. Laura's shot was both lovable and lust-able. Isis's photo looked too dirty for the men. Kayla's photo was too posed; she admitted that she didn't understand the word. Allison was warned about being out of the box and not going too cute. Alexandria was more sweet than tough. Sheena's "unexpected" photo wasn't exciting and lacked flavor. Angelea had a universal character in her photo. Lisa emerged in her flag pants and her photo was great and matched the party vibe. Lisa was the most consistent. Bre looked great, but felt sad. She admitted that she grew up that she's matured; Tyra warned her about Ashlee maintaining her spark. The photo lacked a spark as well.
After judging and Tyra shaving Nigel's hair, Tyra announced that the top photo this week was Lisa. The bottom two were Sheena (Stunning, but not reflected in photos) and Kayla (Lost and flailing). Kayla was safe and Sheena was eliminated. Sheena was disappointed, but she knew she'd be remembered as an All-Star.
