With last week's double elimination, Angelea was happy that Bianca was gone because she became the spice of the party. We ended up getting a lot of Angelea providing snarky commentary for the rest of the episode. Lisa was relieved that she had the best photo but she knew that there was pressure for her to stay on top. Laura and Allison were talking about how extroverted Laura became while Allison was working on still trying to be open.
The girls got a Tyra Mail from internet sensation Madison. She tried to teach about how to apply makeup and then warned the girls about keeping a beat. Mr. Jay arrived and explained that the girls would have to go "viral" by writing their own song and shooting their own music video. Angelea reminded us that the competition was about branding beyond modeling. Jay brought in Tom Polce who would help co-write and produce the songs. Lisa was convinced that she could sell herself the best out of the remaining girls. The contestants were given 20 minutes to write lyrics for tracks made specifically for the girls. Allison's eyes turned her into an even bigger doe than ever. Jay announced that a loved one would come to visit if the girl wrote the best song. With 20 minutes, the girls listened to their music and started writing.
Angelea wrote songs about fighting for her place. Alexandria didn't know how to write a song so she decided to talk about dancing and moving through time. With her huge head, she called the song a masterpiece. Shannon decided to talk about her husband, because he was her biggest inspiration. Lisa thought that she had the upper hand with her previous experience with singing independent music; Lisa got approval from Tom and he didn't think that he had to change much. Laura's got minor tweaks along with Dominique from Tom. Allison lay on the floor as she freaked out. Somewhere she managed to write some special lyrics. Tom loved the fact that she sung about her father which moved her to tears. After the 20 minutes ended, Tom announced the top girls were Lisa and Angelea. The winner was Lisa and she got a visit from her fiancé.
The next day, the girls arrived at The Village to record their music. Tom explained that there was one twist: They had to add "Pot Ledom" which is "Top Model" backwards. Allison felt defeated trying to think about adding random words about a song dedicated to her father. Angelea was first to sing and added her Pot Ledom statement in the beginning of her song, "I'm Here." Shannon wanted to just have fun with her song. Allison continued to worry about her song.
After a commercial break, Allison reworked her song and performed "Underwater" and it impressed Tom and shocked Angelea. Angelea should just know that Allison is amazing no matter what. Laura was hysterically off-key, but that's what Auto-Tune is for. Alexandria was a bit full of herself as she sang somewhat below par. Lisa was last and tried to deliver the song to her best. Tom wrapped the girls and said he'd get the songs ready for the girls' music video.
Lisa's fiancé, Adam, arrived and she was excited for having a loved one around. She explained that opposites attract and he helped balance Lisa's crazy antics. The girls arrived to their music video with Mr. Jay driving up in a great car. He loved how catchy all of the girls were. The challenge was committing to their song. The girls got ready for hair and makeup and got their outfits set. Mr. Jay surprised the girls with the rapper Game who was going to direct the girls. Angelea couldn't even get a word out in her surprise.
Dominique was first and Mr. Jay was looking for Beyoncé in her performances. Dominique kept dropping because of the camera track. Alexandria was in front of a car and she struggled with working with the car. She never went, went, went during the routine. Tyra arrived with Jay and explained that she and internet sensation Keenan Cahill were to be the backup posse. Shannon was next and was giving her best light nymph looks. Lisa turned on her spirit and brought everything she had to the competition. Laura was given a bed to be a sweet innocent girl. Angelea kept looking away and looking towards the camera. She whipped a little bit too much and Game had to give Angelea instructions but she still had dead eyes. Allison talked to Game about how they both lost a family member and that gave Allison some inspiration. Allison turned on the creepy-chan and did a great job having a haunting eye. After all the songs, Angelea was worried that she didn't put enough into her video.
Tyra welcomed the girls to judging with Nigel Barker and Andre Leon Talley and rapper Game, after listing the prizes which ignored the America's Top Model Perfume. Dominique was first and I love how Tyra had nothing to do with the video. I loved the line referring to "Lash Blast eyes" as a Cover Girl reference. Tyra didn't think she was overemphasizing her words. Laura's song was cute and adorable. Angelea was next and the cuts to Tyra helped her soulless performance; Andre thought she should have worked off the fence. Alexandria was next and she looked like a giant next to her car. Game thought she didn't have any chemistry that matched the song. Shannon's "World Go Round" matched her spirit, but the "upside-down" portion was silly. Tyra thought she lacked the smize. Lisa was next she had the spirit of a music video. Andre loved the engagement and the judges thought she had a special song. Finally Allison was last and while she was washed out, she looked like a ghost. Game called her "weird" and that was her winning characteristic.
After the judges deliberated, the top music video was Allison. The bottom two were Alexandria (Great potential, but lacked anything beyond a model) and Angelea (Third time in the bottom, uncomfortable to watch video). Angelea was still safe and Alexandria was eliminated. Tyra reminded Alexandria to "Go, Go, Go" even after being eliminated.
