America's Toughest Jobs, Could You Handle It?

NBC's newest show will pay tribute to workers at hard jobs as rookies go for cash.

Monstersandcritics.com. reports that Reality producer Thom Beers pays tribute to hard work in the fashion of his others shows like Ice Road Truckers and Deadliest Catch with new show America's Toughest Jobs, by seeing if a rookie really could do some of the hardest jobs in America.

It works like this, 13 men and women will trade in their jobs of relative comfort to try on some of the most dangerous and physically demanding jobs such as oil drilling in Texas, logging in the Oregon forest, and yes, even driving icy roads and fishing.

The competitors will go all out and try their best to perform the duties of each job that they are assigned, right beside real workers, and they will apparently be expected to perform as good as the pros.

At the end of each episode, their co-workers and bosses from the profession in which they have been working will decide how well they lived up to the challenge. And as in every other reality show, those who don't succeed get sent home.

At stake is the annual salary for each job the contestants attempt, and in the end, only one will walk away with all the cash.

Josh Temple will be the host of the show set to premiere Monday, August 25 at 9 p.m./8 p.m. C.
