Amy Winehouse Cancels Her Paris Performance
Due to a small illness, 24-year-old Amy Winehouse was forced to cancel her concert in Paris. "She was taken ill at her house and wasn't able to travel to France for the concert," the singer's UK rep, Chris Goodman, said in statement.
Winehouse was supposed to sing at the Rock en Seine show in Paris on Friday night. Even though she was admitted into a hospital recently because of an allergic reaction to an anti-drug medication, Goodman insisted that that is not the case this time.
He said that it has nothing to do with her battle against drugs. "It's nothing serious," Goodman tells People. "It's just a normal illness-she hasn't visited a hospital or anything like that. She's at home in bed, just unable to sing."
Winehouse's next performance is on September 6 for the Bestival music festival on the Isle of Wight in England.
