Amy Winehouse Croons for Nelson Mandela

Troubled pop singer Amy Winehouse will take the stage at London's Hyde Park on June 27 to celebrate Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday.

The concert, called 46664, is to raise awareness and support of the AIDS epidemic and the importance of HIV prevention. Tim Massey, the International Director of 46664, stated, "We are delighted that Amy will be appearing at Hyde Park to celebrate Nelson Mandela's 90th birthday. Amy joins an illustrious list of names showing their support for 46664 and the fight against AIDS."

According to People.com, some of the A-list musical talent will include newcomer Leona Lewis, Annie Lenox, Dame Shirley Bassey, Razorlight, and dozens of South African talent. In addition, other celebrities like Oprah Winfrey, Will Smith, Robert De Niro, and Forest Whitaker will attend as well.

People.com wrote that one of Winehouse's reps said she is "proud" and "honored" to be involved in the concert and the fight against AIDS. The following day, the 24-year-old singer will appear in the Glastonbury Music Festival in Somerset, England.
