Amy Winehouse Does Not Have TB

Medical officials are still stumped about the fainting spell.

There have been many rumors surrounding Amy Winehouse's blackout this Monday. Various reports have written that the Back to Black singer is suffering from tuberculosis, or that her fainting spell is due to her history of drugs and alcohol.

Winehouse's rep told E! News, Friday, that the singer does not have life-threatening illnesses.

"Our official statement from last night still stands: 'Amy has undergone more scans and tests today and we are awaiting the verdict of her doctors,'" says publicist Tracey Miller.

"I can confirm that Amy does have a chest infection, she is not coughing blood, she doesn't have TB, and she is still in the hospital undergoing more tests and following the directions of her doctors. I will let you know if we have any further updates."

Winehouse is due to perform at a concert for Nelson Mandela and at the U.K.'s Glastonbury Music Festival. Miller said that the shows will go on, lest doctor's orders prohibit the singer from showing up. Winehouse is now being treated in a London clinic and conducting further tests.

Saying that she's "doing fine," the father, Mitch, told London's Daily Telegraph that his daughter will be in the hospital for "as long as possible" until a proper diagnosis is produced.
