Amy Winehouse Not Guilty
Amy Winehouse was found not guilty of assault charges on Friday reports Reuters.
Winehouse, 25, was claimed to have assaulting a dancer at a charity ball last September. Sherene Flash was the dancer who accused Winehouse last year backstage at the Prince's Trust Ball in Berkeley Square in central London according to Reuters.
Outside of the courthouse Winehouse said, "I'm relieved. I'm going home." The singer was dressed in a knee-length black skirt, grey jacket and white shirt reports the Associated Press.
A spokesman for the British singer said, "She's always maintained her innocence and is very happy to move on with her life and put the episode behind her."
According to the Associated Press, Winehouse appeared to look healthy but was fidgety during the two day trial. At times, Winehouse was singing to herself and fanning herself.
