Angelina Jolie Does Not Think Fidelity is Necessary in her Relationship
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have been together for four years, but that does not mean that Jolie has left her wild side behind her.
Jolie had a reputation for being a wild child in her early 20s—she is notorious for wearing a vial of ex-husband Billy Bob Thorton’s blood on a necklace— and she doesn’t think that monogamy is required to keep a relationship healthy. She also admits that when she fights with Pitt they can get physical. “I doubt fidelity is absolutely essential for a relationship. It’s worse to leave your partner and talk badly about him afterwards,” Jolie told Das Neue, a German magazine.
Pitt and Jolie make sure that they never limit each other, “Neither Brad nor I have ever claimed that living together means to be chained together,” she said.
Jolie and Pitt have been together since 2005 and have six children—three of which are biological. They allegedly began their affair on the set of “Mr. and Mrs. Smith,” but at the time Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston and Jolie denies being a home-wrecker.
