Angelina Jolie’s wants her adopted children to embrace their culture, even if it includes eating bugs.
Jolie, 36, who is the new face of Louis Vuitton's Core Values campaign, revealed in a new video for the campaign that she introduced her boys to a South-east Asian delicacy of dried crickets, which they ended up loving.
"My boys love to eat crickets. It's their favorite thing," she said. "When I first gave it to them...I wanted them not to be turned off by something that was of their culture. They ate them like Doritos, and they wouldn't stop," Jolie added of Maddox, 9, and Pax, 7.
"They brought to-go boxes home and I had to actually ban the cricket eating at a certain point because I was afraid they were going to get sick from too many," she said.
Jolie says the crickets aren’t all that bad.
“They're good,” she said. “They're like a potato chip."
