Angelina Jolie Suffers Minor Injury on Set
Angelina Jolie is fine after sustaining a minor injury on the set of the spy thriller, Salt, People magazine reports.
The actress was rushed to the hospital after getting a scratch on the face and bumping her head while shooting an action scene on the set of Salt, being filmed in Long Island, New York.
The 33-year-old mother of six went right back to work after being released from the hospital following a thorough examination.
Entertainment Weekly reports that the movie's studio, Columbia Pictures, confirmed that the actress is now fine. The studio said in a statement: "This morning, while filming an action sequence during the production of her new movie 'Salt,' Angelina Jolie sustained a minor injury. As a precautionary measure, Ms. Jolie was taken to a local hospital, examined and released. She is now back on set and production of the film has resumed."
Salt is due to be released next year, Reuters reports.
