In the August 2010 issue of Vanity Fair, actress Angelina Jolie proves the public wrong. She opens up to Vanity Fair magazine and quickly quiets media assumptions of her being cold and dark.
In her interview, Jolie tells Vanity Fair that she was most like her daughter, Shiloh, when she was younger; "[she] used to get dressed up in costumes and jump around, but at some point, [she] got closed off, darker."
According to New York Daily News, Jolie doesn't remember what caused the change in her personality, but thinks it had to do with exposure to the world around her.
She then realized "the world isn't as [she] wished it would be, so [she] deepen[ed]." Jolie also says that as she got older and had children, she became "goofy" and "lighter".
This interview showed the public that Angelina Jolie isn't the "cold witch" that everyone imagines her to be. She's a real mom and a real 'wife' and she loves doing that. When asked if she was having another child, Jolie said: "No, I'm not pregnant [but] we're not opposed to it."
She just wants to make sure that she gives her big family the attention they need before introducing anyone else into the family. She says, "We want to make sure we don't build a family so big that we don't have enough time to raise them each really well." Jolie's just trying to be a good mom.
