Aniston and Mayer Split Again

Actress Jennifer Aniston and musician John Mayer have broken up for the second time, according to CBS's "Early Show" national correspondent Hattie Kauffman.

JD Heyman, assistant managing editor at People Magazine, said of the split, "Apparently they both just decided this relationship has run its course for now, and they're moving on."

Aniston and Mayer spent last Valentine's Day in the Bahamas, celebrating Aniston's 40th birthday.

Aniston said of the birthday, "It's my time. I feel just really -- I mean, I just feel like, you know, every woman that's ever said -- or man -- that said it just gets better, I kind of just agree."

Aniston has also had an excellent year thus far at the box office, starring in two hit films, "Marley and Me" and "He's Just Not That Into You."

Heyman said of Aniston's romantic history, "She's incredibly successful. She's got a lot of good people in her life. And she's happy. And I think, you know, it's sort of silly that we would expect that she would have to have a relationship with a guy to make her happy."
