Aniston and Pitt are Officially Split

The Hollywood couple, Jen and Brad, ended their five year marriage on Monday night when court papers showed that on October 2nd, 2005, the marriage would be dissolved. Jen, who will return to her maiden name, filed for divorce in March.

Rumors that the split was caused by Aniston's decision to not have children have been falsified, according to Aniston's recent interview with Vanity Fair. Aniston claims that she does want children, and intends to have them.

Aniston, 36, and Pitt, 41, are still co-owners of their production company Plan B, whose first film was Charlie and the Chocolate Factory starring Johnny Depp. Although Aniston will not be participating in future projects, she intends to be involved with projects that started before the divorce. Pitt will remain active in Plan B with producer Brad Grey.

The Friends celebrity, Aniston, has been filming her new movie The Breakup, and also plans on working on other roles. Pitt, on the other hand, has been seen vacationing with Angelina Jolie.
