Anna Nicole Smith and lawyer hold commitment ceremony
Anna Nicole Smith and her lawyer-turned-lover Howard K. Stern, participated in a commitment ceremony on Thursday in the Bahamas, according to E! Online.
The commitment came in the form of a 250-word statement from TrimSpa entitled, ""Finding Solice [sic] & Hope," after it was rumored the two planned to wed. Earlier, Stern had said he was the father of Smith's new daughter.
"Although the ceremony was officiated, it was not a wedding, and no marriage certificate was issued," the statement said, according to E! Online.
TrimSpa said the media-scrutiny of their relationship caused the two to have a cemeony aboard a boat on Thursday morning.
"And then a good thing happened," the company said, according to E! Online. "During the sail, Anna Nicole Smith and Howard K. Stern made a commitment before God to be there for one another, to be each other's strength during this difficult time."
