Anna Paquin is Bisexual

PEOPLE reports that Anna Paquin, the star of HBO’s True Blood and fiancé of co-star Stephen Moyer, came out as bisexual for a PSA promoting equality. Paquin joins a group of celebrities advocating equality for people of all sexual orientations in the new “Give a Damn” campaign. The campaign features Paquin in the first of their PSA’s about speaking out for gay, bisexual, and transgender rights.

However, the heads of the campaign were in for a surprise at the January 30 private taping of Paquin’s spot. On camera she says, "I'm Anna Paquin. I'm bisexual and I give a damn.” The actress had never before spoken about her sexuality or alerted the "Give a Damn" campaign that she would include the revelation in the PSA.

The campaign is being launched on behalf of the True Colors Fund, a group dedicated to fighting for equality for people of all sexual orientations. Other celebrities features in upcoming PSA's include Jason Mraz, Margaret Cho, Mya, Kim Kardashian, Elton John, Whoopi Goldberg, Cynthia Nixon, Sharon and Kelly Osbourne, Judith Light, Clay Aiken, and Wanda Sykes.

The "Give A Damn" campaign launches today, and Paquin’s video will be the first to hit the web.
