Anna Paquin Gets Married

This is indeed love at first bite!

True Blood stars Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer tied the knot last Saturday night in a wedding held at a private residence in Malibu, California. The couple made it just in time to be amongst the many celebs that were married this summer.

According to Us Magazine, the ceremony that overlooked the ocean had many celebs in attendance, including True Blood co-star Carrie Preston, Preston’s husband Michael Emerson of Lost, and actor Elijah Wood. Many friends and loved ones who attended the ceremony reportedly arrived with gifts wrapped entirely in purple.

The couple shared their first kiss onscreen on the hit HBO series True Blood. Paquin, 28, plays Sookie Stackhouse, who falls for the character of Moyer, 40, vampire Bill Compton. The two officially went public with their relationship in February 2009. Last summer, Moyer told E!, “I love working with her. And that's how it all started, by falling in love on camera.”

Moyer popped the question in August 2009 while the two were on a beach in Hawaii. This is the first marriage for Paquin. Moyer has two children from previous relationships.
