Another "Grey's" Actress Leaves the Show
That's two in three weeks.
Janina Gavankar, who joined the show after finishing her stint on L Word, is leaving Grey's Anatomy after only two episodes.
Sources confirm to EW.com that Gavankar has bailed on the show because her role was less important than she originally thought.
Since the show's writers and producers couldn't confirm that Gavankar's role in the show would grow, she decided to leave for better roles.
As it stands, there are rumors floating around that Gavankar is interested in joining USA Network pilot White Collar, which also stars Matthew Bomer, Tim DeKay and Tiffani Thiessen.
