Apple iPad Has New Commercial

Apple is giving the iPad the red carpet treatment with its commercial that aired during last night's Academy Awards. Apple's CEO Steve Jobs himself was even on the red carpet in LA for the Oscars.

The iPad, which is still scheduled to come out April 3 with the wi-fi version, can be pre-ordered starting March 12. The 3G version will be available later in April. The iPad has been in the news most recently for the glitches, but Jobs and Apple are assuring the public that all problems have been fixed.

The commercial follows suit with the iPhone and iPod commercialsand features the song "There Goes my Love" by Blue Van. The commercial can be viewed below:
