Applegate Breaks Foot During Sweet Charity Performance
Applegate expected to recover before show makes it to Broadway
Christina Applegate of "Married ... with Children" fame broke her foot during Friday's performance of the musical "Sweet Charity" in Chicago. After trying to continue on for over twenty minutes, Applegate was replaced by her understudy Dylis Croman. Applegate is expected to make a full recovery in time for the Broadway preview performances starting April 4th. Performances are expected to open to the public starting April 21st at the Al Hirshfeld Theatre. Until then, Charlotte d'Amboise who is currently starring as Roxie Hart in Broadway's Chicago will replace Applegate.
