Are Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox no longer friends?

New reports are surfacing that best friends Jennifer Aniston and Courteney Cox are on the outs.

The friendship between the former Friends co-stars is reportedly being threatened as a result of Cox’s separation from husband of 11 years David Arquette.

“Jen thinks Courteney is acting callous by running around with this guy but refusing to file divorce papers," a source told Us Magazine of Cox and her Cougar Town co-star, Brian Van Holt. "Like she's playing mind games with David."

The source explains that it hits close to home for Aniston, as she was the victim of the same type of behavior when her ex-husband, Brad Pitt, first came into cahoots with now partner Angelina Jolie on the set of Mr. and Mrs. Smith.

"She hates watching Courteney do the same thing," the source continued.

Aniston’s rep has responded to these reports, telling The Los Angeles Times, "It's completely false -- there was no falling out. Jennifer has always and continues to consider Courteney a dear and close friend."
