Are Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson the new faces of 3D?

Following in the success of James Cameron’s Avatar, rumors have already begun to spread about the possibility that Breaking Dawn will be filmed entirely in 3D. This follows additional rumors of whether or not the last entry in the Twilight Saga will be split into two films like Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows.

MTV recently caught up Kristen Stewart who spoke candidly about both rumors. Stewart had no issue with the idea of two films. She understands that with two films, the filmmakers have the ability to preserve parts of the novel which would otherwise be cut if only one film is made.

The actress isn’t so keen, however, on the prospect of an entire 3D Breaking Dawn. Although she admits some scenes would work well in 3D, she is hoping for a standard 2D experience. Still, Stewart went on to state that she wouldn’t be surprised if the studio went forward with a full 3D version of the film.
