Armstrong Admits He Wasn't Ready for Marriage
U.S. cyclist, Lance Armstrong, and singer, Sheryl Crow, ended their romantic relationship due to Crow's biological time clock, reported ChicagoTribune.com. Armstrong admitted that the split was a mix between different ideas about marriage, children and poor timing.
"She wanted marriage, she wanted children; and not that I didn't want that, but I didn't want that at that time because I had just gotten out of a marriage, I'd just had kids (Luke, Grace, and Bella)," the seven-time Tour de France winner discloses in a bio written by John Wilcockson coming out in July.
"I feel like I wasn't ready," Armstrong revealed in the book. "I would have been in the future, but not then."
While their relationship ended in 2006, Crow adopted a two-week-old boy she named Wyatt Steven Crow in May 2007. At the time, Armstrong had a girlfriend, Amy Hansen, according to UPI.com.
Hansen and Armstrong are currently expecting a child due next month, reported ChicagoTribune.com.
