Armstrong Supports Crow Through Her Cancer Treatment
Lance Armstrong is vowing to support his ex-fiance Sheryl Crow during her battle with cancer. The pop singer, who was diagnosed with breast cancer, underwent minor surgery last Wednesday and is now ready to begin precautionary radiation therapy. Crow's doctors are insisting that the star's outlook is good, citing that they caught the cancer in its early stage. Armstrong, the seven-time Tour de France winner and a testicular cancer survivor has been in touch with the singer and assures everyone that she will be OK. Armstrong goes on, "Once again I'm reminded of just how pervasive this illness is, as it has now touched someone I love deeply. Based on my contact in recent days with Sheryl, her doctor and her family, I am confident that she will have a full and complete recovery and the world will be a better place for it."
