Arnold Has Presidential Dreams

Unfortunately, Schwarzenegger's dreams will probably be terminated by the Constitution.

California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger said he would be interested in being president of the U.S. if the constitution were amended to allow foreign-born citizens run for Presidency.

In an interview for Sunday's CBS "60 Minutes" Schwarzenegger responded that he would in fact be interested in the coveted political position, were it open to him.

"Yes, absolutely" said the Terminator-turned-Governor when he was asked if he would like to run and would support such an amendment.

The actor and politician has previously defected the question.

"I think, you know, because why not? I mean, you know, anyone with my way of thinking, you always shoot for the top," the governor said. "But it's not something that I am preoccupied with."

Schwarzenegger, 57, was born in Austria, and moved to the United States in 1968 during his fortune-building reign as a champion body builder and actor. He became a United States citizen in 1983, but is not legally permitted to become Commander-In-Chief because he was not born in the United States. Schwarzenegger's wife, Maria Shriver, is the niece of former U.S President John F. Kennedy.
