Ashlee Simpson spotted with new man

Ashlee Simpson has been spotted with actor Vincent Piazza following her breakup with Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz.

According to TMZ, the two were spotted locking lips yesterday in New York City.

Piazza has an impressive television résumé, having appeared in such popular series as The Sopranos, Law & Order, Rescue Me, and, most recently, Boardwalk Empire.

The 26-year-old Simpson has been in the spotlight ever since her reality series, The Ashlee Simpson Show, debuted on MTV in 2004. Following in her older sister Jessica’s footsteps, she embarked on a singing career, releasing three albums.

She is perhaps best remembered for her infamous SNL lip-synching incident, where the whole world discovered that she was not performing live, but rather with assistance from a backing track.

She has also dabbled in acting, appearing on the short-lived Melrose Place reboot, as well as a Broadway production of Chicago.

Wentz and Simpson filed for divorce on February 9.
