Ashley Judd is on a mission to save the environment. After just a few weeks of her controversial public service announcement blaming Sarah Palin for allowing the hunting of wolves in Alaska, the actress is making her voice heard again.
This time, the De-Lovely star is advocating for the end to mountaintop coal mining. According to USA Today, Judd attended a rally yesterday in Frankfort, Kentucky to support a legislation that would forbid the blowing of mountaintops in search of coal.
The actress's passion for the cause flourished after she visited mountaintop coalmines in September and was shocked by the destruction of "barren moonscapes" and "nothingness" that surrounded the area.
