Ashton Kutcher is angry over rumors published in a tabloid that he cheated on his wife, Demi Moore. Star magazine claimed that Kutcher was allegedly "caught cheating with a sexy, young, 20-something."

The magazine’s article said an eye witness told Star, "Ashton had this gorgeous girl pinned against the wall, and he was totally making out with her. I was shocked to see him sucking face with a girl who obviously wasn't Demi."

Kutcher posted messages on his Twitter account Wednesday to deny the rumors.

"I think Star magazine calling me a "cheater" qualifies as defamation of character. I hope my lawyer agrees," tweeted Kutcher. "STAR magazine — you don't get to stand behind 'freedom of the press' when you are writing fiction.”

Moore, who supported her husband throughout the rumors, re-tweeted Kutcher’s Twitter posts and added, “Excellent point my love!”

A spokeswoman for Star told Access Hollywood that the publication "stands by its story."

Kutcher and Moore will celebrate their fifth wedding anniversary in September.
