Ashton Kutcher Is Working at a High School!

The actor becomes an assistant football coach at a Los Angeles private school.

It might sound like just another prank from his reality show, Punk'd, but People Magazine confirms that Ashton Kutcher really has become a high school football coach. Audrius Bardzukas, Director of Athletics at Los Angeles's Harvard-Westlake School, told People that Kutcher is friends with the football coach, but he still had to interview, and his celebrity status did not get him the job.

"I asked him why he wanted to coach," Bardzukas told the magazine. Referring to wife Demi Moore's teenage girls, Kutcher responded that "he's a dad, he has three daughters, and none of them are into sports. He loves football, and he said he'd always wanted to coach." Kutcher is now assistant coach for the freshman football team. According to FOX News, he is expected to attend practice five days a week. The Los Angeles Times reported that Kutcher played football during his high school years in Iowa.

Bardzukas told People that Kutcher is "a great communicator." Asked whether the actor was getting paid for his new position, the athletic director responded that Harvard-Westlake does not have volunteer coaches, but then added, "I can tell you he's not in it for the money."
