Assault Charges against Keifer Sutherland dropped
The actor will not face charges over a head-butting incident.
Keifer Sutherland will not be facing assault charges.
A spokeswoman for New York District Attorney Robert Morgenthau said that after a full investigation, including talking to the complaining witness, the DA would not charge Mr. Sutherland, largely due to the fact that the complaining witness or victim was uncooperative.
Officials in Los Angeles also decided that the charges were not serious enough to be a violation of Sutherland's parole, which he is serving after a 2007 drunk driving arrest.
At a SoHo party in May, Sutherland allegedly head-butted fashion designer Jack McCollough. McCollough apparently bumped into Brooke Shields and didn't apologize.
