Austin City Limits Festival Releases 2009 Lineup

Texas's annual music festival released their official lineup this week. Pearl Jam, Beastie Boys, Dave Matthews Band, John Legend, Ben Harper and the Relentless7, Thievery Corporation, and Kings of Leon headline the festival.

The three-day festival starts on October 2, and ends on October 4.

The festival is to be located at Zilker Park, in Austin, Tex.

Three-day tickets have gone on sale this week, and cost $195. The VIP-tickets are $850 each. The VIP-tickets give the ticket holder a separate cooling off tent, complimentary food and beverages, air-conditioned restrooms, and a VIP parking pass.The one-day tickets will go on sale soon, and will be significantly cheaper.

According to their Web site (http://www.aclfestival.com/default.aspx), the festival will have eight stages and 130 bands performing. The full list of the performers can be seen at their Web site. There are different genres of music that will be showcased, from hip hop MC: Mos Def, to '80s rock band: Sonic Youth.
