Singer Avril Lavigne and her boyfriend, actor Brody Jenner, were injured in a bar fight Sunday morning.
The altercation took place outside the Roosevelt Hotel in Hollywood.
While the couple were enjoying cocktails Sunday morning when another patron began making slurs at Jenner. The patron then hit him in the head with a bottle, which started the fight.
"I got attacked by 5 people last night out of nowhere. Not cool. My face is f––ed," Lavigne tweeted. “As in black eye, bloody nose, hair ripped out, scratches, bruises and cuts. So not ok to be abusive to others. Violence is NEVER the answer."
Jenner also tweeted, slightly tongue-in-cheek, that he was released from the hospital with a scar on his face.
According to the LAPD, the assailants have not been identified and no arrests have been made.
Jenner had been in a previous bar fight. In 2009, he and his then-girlfriend Jayde Nicole got into an altercation with Joe Francis, creator of the series Girls Gone Wild.
