What do you get for the baby who will have everything? A Swarovski-studded high chair by Carla Monchen to start.
New parents Jay-Z and Beyoncé have already spent millions preparing for their new daughter, Blue Ivy Carter, born Saturday in New York.
The list of million-dollar toys would even make Suri Cruise jealous. A source close to the couple said that "They're really pulling out all the stops - the two of them have been spending like there's no tomorrow! Together they've bought a Swarovski-studded high chair by Carla Monchen for $15,000, and a Fantasy 'posh tots' coach carriage crib for $22,000," the International Business Times reported.
Blue is also reported to have received a blinged-out $50,000 stroller encrusted with diamonds and crystals as well as a miniature Bugatti car.
The Daily Mail adds that a source also told them, "Jay-Z bought Beyoncé a solid gold handmade Ginza Tanaka rocking horse for £400,000," or about $620,000. Blue also has three identical nurseries all ready to go in the couple's three U.S. homes.
And what birth would be complete without jewelry? The couple has already stocked up on pricy baby charm bracelets, gold and platinum diamond rattles and dummies from Tiffany & Co. We're dying to see what mommy Beyoncé received to mark this very special occasion.
So what's left for Blue's celebrity aunties and uncles to buy her? Kelly Rowland purchased a bright green babygro with a picture of Bob Marley's face on it, the Daily Mail also reports.Gather.com says Rowland also purchased a pink Swarovski crystal-encrusted tub for Blue, a cool $7,000 compared with her $22 onesie.
Oprah was a bit more practical, sending the parents a trunk of children's books, no doubt hand-picked by O herself, says the Los Angeles Times. If that list gets released, children's book sellers will be thanking Oprah for the run on Dr. Seuss and Eloise.
