Bones actor David Boreanaz and Jaime Bergman welcomed daughter Bardot Vita Boreanaz Monday.

"Bones" actor David Boreanaz and his wife Jaime Bergman welcomed their second child Bardot Vita Boreanaz Monday, confirmed People. Baby Bardot weighed 7 pounds, 14 ounces. Bardot will be joining older brother Jaden Rayne, 7.

The safe birth of baby Bardot came as relief to both Boreanaz and Bergman. Bergman had been on bed rest, and Boreanaz was never far from home.Recently, he told People, "I must maintain a 20-mile radius. I cannot travel beyond that. If I do, I'll freak out – I have to be there when the baby comes."

Well, now it is time to celebrate for the Boreanaz family. Bergman told People's Celebrity Baby Blog, "We've been trying to have another baby for a couple of years now so we are beyond excited. We're over the moon."

"Bones" premieres Sept. 17 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
